Mom update

Mom is still in the hospital. She might get to come home soon. She does have a very high potassium level that has gotten higher each day. Her doctor is not sure why it keeps increasing. They will not be able to release her until the potassium level comes down. Once mom is able to come home she will be getting a home nurse. The nurse will come once or twice a day to check on mom and give medications by IV.
Mom's gout is much better. Her thumb that has the gout also looks so much better. Her pain has been at a tolerable level for her. I think mom has handed out 60+ tracks to doctors, nurses and many other staff at the hospital.
